Julian Krikken embodies the common image of the kiteboarder. At the age of 19, he is one of the world’s best in his discipline, freestyle. Balance mandatory, vertigo forbidden. From Montauban to Spain, through the whole world, Julian Krikken tames all the waves and plays with the wind … A board, a sail and wind. These are the three ingredients of happiness and pleasure for this rider.
The young rider from Montalbanais can be glued to the wind all over the world. A student at the Toulouse business school, Julian has made a name for himself in the world of tricolor kitesurfing to the point where today he is one of the most serious hopefuls of the discipline (he is also part of the French pole, and enjoys the status of a top-level sportsman).
You can go up to five meters high, you can detach yourself from the bar… You can do a lot of things, it’s nice. And the advantage if we fall is that we fall in the water. To succeed in the figures, it is necessary to know how to hurt oneself.

We are hosting one of the three rounds of the Kitefoil FFV Regional Championship. The turquoise water of the Serre Ponçon lake and the thermal wind offer an ideal setting for sportsmen and women. The kiters will compete in one event: the Kitefoil Flat Race. Freestyle Kitesurfing will also be present with many impressive demonstrations by top surfers.
